Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced IT Audit leader to own and modernize an IT audit program. You will partner with senior leadership to drive a data-driven internal audit function, focusing on IT SOX, ITGC, and risk-based technology audits across SAP/ERP, cybersecurity, data privacy, and cloud infrastructures.

The role offers high visibility within a growing public company, mentorship for junior staff, and opportunities to shape governance through analytics and automation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT Audit, Internal Audit, or Technology Risk experience.
• Hands-on experience leading IT SOX compliance and ITGC testing.
• Experience planning and leading IT audit engagements or workstreams.
• Strong understanding of IT risk, internal controls, and audit methodologies.
• Experience auditing SAP or other ERP environments preferred.
• Experience with data analytics tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Alteryx is a plus.
• Knowledge of COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, or similar IT risk frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT SOX & IT General Controls (ITGC).
• Own the planning, walkthroughs, testing, and documentation of IT General Controls (ITGCs).
• Drive SOX compliance activities and support external auditor reliance.
• Evaluate control deficiencies and partner with stakeholders on remediation efforts.
• Recommend improvements to strengthen IT control environments.
• Lead Risk-Based Technology Audits across domains (Cybersecurity, Data Privacy, ERP, Cloud).
• Develop audit programs aligned with COBIT, NIST, and ISO 27001.
• Mentor junior auditors and contribute to continuous improvement.
