ACCsurance is currently working with a Fortune 100 Client and one of the largest employers in the Washington, DC Metro area looking for their next IT Audit Manager. This position can be REMOTE and located anywhere in the US. This person must be able to manage a moderate-sized portfolio of audits of information technology systems, applications or platforms/operating systems, financial and statistical models, and/or IT risk management activities, manage a moderate-sized team, as well as coordinating and administering assignments, monitoring IT Audit team progress, and manage budgets and schedules.

IT Audit Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop audit execution methods across assigned areas.
- Set direction for audit projects and deliver them timely with appropriate scope and quality.
- Be accountable for the quality of an audit, including the final report.
- Identify and communicate potential issues to key stakeholders and explain why it matters to this Fortune 100 Financial Services Company.
- Act as subject matter expert for audits, timetables, risks, and challenges.
- Drive execution and hold people accountable.
- Work with the centralized resourcing group to effectively utilize staff on your team.
- Assemble audit teams, address training needs, and assign work to ensure efficiency and impact.
- Submit audit/project status reports to stakeholders; identify project risks/execution issues and define mitigation plans; anticipate and react to change.
- Be the manager of choice and role model for your team.
- Regularly evaluate employees and offer candid feedback.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 8 years working experience, including at least 4 years auditing Information & Technology risks in a large IT environment, with 2 years managing people as an IT Audit manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration with an emphasis in Technology, Computer Science, Accounting Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- CISA or willingness to obtain CISA within 12 months.
