OVERVIEW: The IT Audit Manager is a trusted, independent advisor to management, responsible for planning, performing, documenting, directing, and overseeing IT audits and assessments within the organization. The role involves evaluating the effectiveness of information systems controls, policies, and procedures, as well as identifying and assessing IT-related risks. The IT Audit Manager manages IT Audit team members, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure quality and consistency of audit work. Critical thinking, effective communication skills, and attention to detail are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Apply the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) and the Global Internal Audit Standards to all audit projects.
• Conduct an annual IT risk assessment aligned with MarineMax’s strategic plan.
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of MarineMax’s general IT control environment, according to COSO/COBIT frameworks and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Manage the activities of the Senior IT Auditor related to SOX compliance GITC testing.
• Oversee risk-based IT projects in the annual audit plan, covering areas such as general IT controls, application controls, cybersecurity, data privacy, ERP, and third-party risk management.
• Develop IT audit plans and ensure successful completion of audits/projects, communicating progress to management.
• Recommend improvements in processes, security, technology, operations, and compliance.
• Prepare and present audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Handle management requests and special projects as needed.
• Manage, develop, train, and mentor the Senior IT Auditor, assessing performance for reviews.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Complete Sarbanes-Oxley compliance activities.
• Deliver IT projects within scope, time, and budget.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems, Security, or related field.
• Certifications like CISA, CISM, CISSP preferred.
• Experience with governance frameworks (COSO, COBIT, NIST).
• 5+ years in Security, IT, or IT Audit.
• Use of E-Verify for employment eligibility in the US.
