United Community seeks a Senior IT Auditor to execute assurance work on information technology systems and processes in Greenville, SC, including testing internal controls and risk management systems. This role liaises with stakeholders to develop and execute a risk-based audit plan.

The candidate will plan IT audit assignments, communicate results through reports and presentations, and lead audit staff while serving as SME in IT areas. Strong ethics and ISACA/IPPF familiarity are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT or related field; or sufficient experience in IT/IT audit.
• 5 years IT audit experience or a combination of IT and IT Audit experience.
• Must possess at least one professional certification such as CISA, CIA, or CISSP or obtain within 2 years.
• Ability to research innovative technologies, identify weaknesses and control points, and apply them in audits.
• Experience using audit management software and scripting / coding/query languages to develop data extracts or automation programs.

• Plan and organize IT audit assignments to evaluate internal controls and risk management.
• Communicate audit results to management via reports and presentations.
• Perform risk analysis and design/execute audit tests of controls and transactions.
• Lead audit staff and act as SME in IT areas as assigned.
• Prepare audit work papers and support conclusions.
• Review junior staff work and provide coaching.
• Lead walkthroughs, closing meetings, and client discussions.
• Prepare findings and reports for management review.
• Perform issue tracking and follow-up to confirm resolution.
