Globe Life And Accident Insurance Company is seeking an Internal Audit Intern for Summer 2027 in McKinney, TX. You will support the Internal Audit team with assurance and advisory services across Globe Life's technology environment, including data analysis and SOX compliance, under management guidance.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a junior or higher pursuing a bachelor's degree.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for correspondence and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and summarize information.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to draw logical conclusions.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Proficient internet research skills.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and make informed decisions.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing comprehensive audit programs under supervision.
• Conduct interviews and meetings with audit clients and external auditors.
• Participate in client meetings and collaborate with audit team members.
• Support control testing procedures and document workpapers.
• Contribute to SOX compliance initiatives.
• Prepare and document draft audit findings and recommendations with supporting workpapers.
• Develop and execute SQL queries for data analysis.
