RiVidium Inc. is seeking a Functional Specialist / IT Audit & Control Assessor to join the IT Audit Management Team (ITAM) in Springfield, VA.

The role focuses on guiding IT audit management, statutory compliance, and internal control testing to ensure seamless execution and reporting. You will manage detailed review of audit evidence, track information system vulnerabilities, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet federal requirements and department policies while

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in IT audit or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Assurance, Cyber or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven working knowledge of FISMA and FSA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Audit Lifecycle Management: support the full IT audit lifecycle by ensuring timely and efficient receipt, coordination, tracking, remediation, response, and reporting of audit data.
• Independent Evidence Review: manage detailed reviews of audit evidence, evaluate response quality, and oversee remediation efforts.
• Vulnerability Tracking: track and maintain information system vulnerabilities and audit correspondences; coordinate with internal and external organizations to satisfy audit inquiries.
• OMB A-123 Compliance: perform IT control testing and assess compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures to support internal control testing and the Statement of Assurance.
• Leadership Communications: create clear, written updates and executive communications for the Audit Committee and CIO leadership, mapping findings to corrective actions and remediation tracker.
• Briefings & Metrics: provide detailed analysis, status reports, and metrics to leadership concerning findings status.
• Process Improvement: recommend best practices and develop actionable plans for continuous process improvement.
