Job summary

ManTech seeks a motivated Information Technology/Assurance Specialist II to join our El Segundo, CA team. The role focuses on supporting SAPs with a strong technical background in AIS accreditation, RMF/JSIG training, and safeguarding classified information.

You will lead, mentor, and provide high-level IT and security support to ensure compliance across programs. The position requires Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and training in RMF/JSIG, with experience in cross-domain solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or additional 4 years of experience.
• 8+ years of total related experience.
• 6+ years of relevant SCI or SAP experience.
• Must meet DoD 8570.01-M for (IAT) Level 2, (IAM) Level 1, requirements within 6 months of the date of hire (i.e Security+ CE).
• Must Complete training: (JSIG) Joint Security Implementation Guidance, (RMF) Risk Management Framework, (ISCM) Information Security Continuous Monitoring (If supported organization requires development of AIS accreditation packages).
• Minimum 3 years of SAP-related experience is highly desired.
• Completed training on Joint Security Implementation Guidance (JSIG) and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Working knowledge and current relevant experience with PL1 & PL2 systems; experience with PL3 & PL4 cross-domain solutions is desired.
• Possession of a high degree of originality, creativity, and initiative requiring minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Establishing complex operational software configuration controls and system interfaces for assigned computer systems.
• Maintaining file servers, firewalls, network access, and Security Monitoring Systems while ensuring all system documentation is current.
• Analyzing and troubleshooting system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance and support operational tests.
• Reviewing, preparing, and updating AIS accreditation packages and notifying customers of changes affecting certification.
• Identifying AIS vulnerabilities, implementing effective countermeasures, and performing routine AIS self-inspections.
• Ensuring all AIS and network nodes are operated, maintained, and disposed of in strict accordance with security policies.
• Providing leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance for team members while managing account creations and help desk support.
