Allegion is seeking an IT Business Analyst I to join our ERP and business transformation delivery team. You will analyze, specify, and partner with subject matter experts to define the best solutions using Microsoft AX and Dynamics Finance and Operations for Sales Order Management, operations, and Supply Chain.

You will document requirements, test scenarios, and support ERP upgrades while coordinating with onshore/offshore teams to ensure successful delivery across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT or related field.
• 1+ years experience with ERP applications, preferably in supply chain/manufacturing.
• Experience supporting upgrades and deployments a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business requirements for ERP solutions.
• Collaborate with ERP developers and SMEs to define best-fit configurations.

Primary responsibilities will include analyzing, specifying, proposing, and partnering with subject matter experts to define the best solutions to meet business needs using knowledge and expertise around the Microsoft AX and Dynamics Finance and Operations ERP systems. The primary focus areas with the business will be Sales Order Management, operations, and Supply Chain. This person will apply proven communication, analytic, and problem-solving skills ensuring alignment with IT and overall business transformation strategies. The IT Business Analyst I formulates, recommends, and helps validate solutions that can be applied regionally and globally.What you will do:Support the gathering and documentation of business requirements under the guidance of experienced Business Analysts and project leaders.Assist with analyzing business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.Learn and research ERP functionality, system setups, configuration options, and standard business processes.Help create and maintain business requirements, functional specifications, process documentation, and training materials.Assist with evaluating practical business system solutions that support business needs and promote standard ERP functionality where appropriate.Participate in the creation and execution of end-to-end test cases covering multiple business scenarios.Document test results, identify issues, and assist with tracking defects through resolution.Work with business users to support user acceptance testing and confirm understanding of proposed solutions.Collaborate with Business Analysts, ERP Developers, consultants, and support teams to help ensure functional requirements are understood and implemented correctly.Assist with triaging ERP incidents and support requests, escalating more complex issues to the appropriate team members.Support coordination and handoffs between onshore, offshore, internal, and external support teams.Participate in meetings with business users and subject matter experts to understand current processes and system needs.Assist with ERP upgrades, implementations, deployments, and continuous improvement activities.Help maintain accurate documentation related to system processes, data integrity, testing, and support procedures.Develop familiarity with the Allegion business, ERP applications, and global and regional business processes.Perform other duties and participate in projects as assigned.What you need to succeed:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field1+ years experience working within large manufacturing (multi-national) or distribution operations1+ years experience working with or implementing ERP Application functionality – with emphasis on Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing related business activitiesUnderstanding of end to end sales life cycle processesExperience supporting upgrades and/or application implementationsExperience developing comprehensive business requirements, functional design documents, completing impact assessments, and contributing to business cases that identify value of the changeAbility to work independently as well as to collaborate effectively with others in person and remotelyExcellent communication skills with all levels.
