Job summary

TechR2, LLC in Pataskala, OH seeks a Commercial Driver's License Driver - Class B to securely transport IT systems and equipment across client sites and facilities. You will work onsite and on the road, ensuring safety and DOT compliance while delivering excellent client experiences.

The role combines professional driving with basic technical tasks, requires CDL B or higher, clean driving record, valid DOT medical certification, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–3 years of combined experience in commercial driving.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or B) with a clean driving record.
• Current DOT Medical Certification required.
• Drivers must pass drug and alcohol tests
• A thorough background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate company-owned and rental trucks to transport IT assets and field service equipment between facilities and customer sites.
• Perform all pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations; maintain driving logs and vehicle condition reports.
• Load and secure equipment using proper lifting and load securement techniques.
• Manage route planning to ensure timely delivery and pickup schedules.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report mechanical issues; coordinate maintenance as needed.
• Support on-site logistics, including equipment staging, inventory reconciliation, and document sign-off.
• Represent the company professionally at client sites with strong communication and customer service skills.
• Collaborate with Client Success, Service Delivery, and Logistics to align project objectives.
• Communicate project status, issues, and resolutions to management and clients.
