Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) Technician to join our warehouse team in Carol Stream, IL. You will inspect, test, and prepare electronic equipment for resale or recycling, ensuring careful handling.

Responsibilities include cleaning devices, performing data wipes, and following exact setup and testing procedures. Candidates should be comfortable with RF scanners and inventory systems and may work two shifts in a secure warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse setting with picking, loading, unloading, and RF scanners.
• Technical aptitude and attention to detail are desirable.
• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test electronic goods for quality.
• Clean laptops and equipment for processing.
• Test products including cords and plugs.
• Perform data wiping and diagnose devices.
• Sort boxes to maintain organization.
• Set up devices according to provided instructions.
• Power and test devices following precise instructions.
• View pick sheets and order sheets for accurate processing.
• Track inventory using computer systems.
• Log inventory and parts in logs/databases.
