An IT apprentice combines technical support with process improvement responsibilities. Alongside troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing devices, and supporting end-users, they may gather and document business requirements, assist in analyzing workflows, and recommend technical solutions to improve efficiency. They collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, create basic reports, and support the implementation of technology projects. This hybrid role requires adaptability, problem-solving, and strong communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business objectives.
During your apprenticeship with Catalyte, you will develop and hone your foundational skills as an IT apprentice under the tutelage of experienced technicians. You will leverage your newly acquired skills to manage and maintain computer networks and provide consultative services for client companies. In addition, you will help gather requirements and document business processes.
