Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

Our Consumer Identity and Access Management organization delivers secure, reliable digital identity services that enable members and consumers to access web and mobile experiences across the enterprise. This role is a senior engineering position focused on our PingDirectory-based X.500 directory platform that serves as a core system for identity data, supporting authentication, authorization, and profile services at large scale. The engineer will design, build, and operate highly available directory services, including replication, performance tuning, schema and access-control design, and operational automation. The position partners closely with application engineering teams, cybersecurity, privacy/compliance, and infrastructure teams to integrate identity data flows and ensure secure, resilient operations. Mission-critical responsibilities include safeguarding the integrity of identity data, maintaining service reliability, and leading complex troubleshooting and production support for directory-dependent experiences.

Job Summary:

This senior level employee is primarily responsible for translating business requirements and functional specifications into software solutions, for contributing to and leveraging the technical direction for the development of integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions, and for serving as a technical expert for project teams while providing consultation to help ensure new and existing software solutions are developed.

  • As part of the IT Engineering job family, this position is responsible for leveraging DEVOPS, and both Waterfall and Agile practices, to design, develop, and deliver resilient, secure, multi-channel, high-volume, high-transaction, on/off-premise, cloud-based solutions.
