A prestigious manufacturer in Jackson, MI is currently seeking two Windows Applications Developers with PC hardware experience for one 1st shift and one 2nd shift Specialist position in the Information Systems Department.
Responsibilities include: C# and VB.NET application development utilizing Microsoft SQL Server, VB 6 application support, Networked PC support, basic network administration & support, and IBM System i support.
Required: Applicants must have a 4 year computer science related degree and experience working with computers and related systems. Experience developing applications using C# and VB.NET, Microsoft SQL Server use and administration, knowledge of PC hardware, Windows Server installation and administration, installation and set up of Microsoft Windows in a network environment.
Experience with network switching, Ethernet cabling, Windows Domain Administration, and IBM System experience is desired.
