Job summary

SCI Summit Consulting, LLC is seeking an experienced technology leader to oversee planning, development, and implementation of programming activities and application systems for key business areas. You will manage a technical team, coordinate feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and ensure delivery aligned with business priorities.

The role requires at least 10 years of related experience, including 2 years in leadership, and familiarity with IBMi (iSeries, AS/400).

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience, including at least 2 years in leadership.
• IBMi (iSeries, AS/400) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees planning, development, and implementation of programming activities and application systems for assigned areas.
• Ensures feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and establishment of new or revised applications.
• Plans and coordinates processes for user applications and business operations.
• Supports short- and long-term application systems plans aligned with business needs.
• Provides coaching, mentorship, and training to staff; participates in talent decisions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• On-site two days a week with flexibility to work remotely three days.

Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities

• Oversees and participates in the planning, development, and implementation of programming activities, application systems, and requirements standards for assigned areas, through best practices and the appropriate staffing and management of the technical team.
• Ensures completion of feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and the establishment and implementation of new or revised applications systems and programs.
• Responsible for planning and coordinating the processes required for the provision of user applications and systems necessary for business operations.
• Supports the development of short and long-term applications systems plans that are consistent with the needs and priorities of the business.
• Responsible for performance and coaching of staff and has a participatory role in decisions regarding talent selection, development, and performance management. Provides training to new members of the team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of related experience, including a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience. IBMi (iSeries, AS/400) experience is preferred.

Operates under policies and procedures with limited oversight.
