Job summary

Nemak in Augusta, GA is seeking an SAP/S4HANA and MES support specialist for a fully automated foundry environment. You will provide second-line support, analyze incidents, ensure reliable execution of integrated production, maintenance and logistics processes, and coordinate escalation when needed.

You will work across SAP PP/PM modules, MES interfaces, and Orbis MES tooling, collaborating with international teams to resolve interface and posting errors, improve processes, and drive continuous

Qualifications

• Several years of experience supporting production-related SAP applications or working in a manufacturing IT environment.
• Experience with Orbis MES.
• Strong SAP PP knowledge, particularly production orders, confirmations, goods movements, bills of material and routings.
• Good SAP PM knowledge, particularly notifications, maintenance orders, equipment and functional locations.
• Experience analyzing and resolving interface and posting errors between SAP and an MES or comparable third-party system.
• Experience with ticket-based incident and service management and defined response times.
• Good understanding of integrated production, maintenance and logistics processes.
• Very good English skills for collaboration in an international environment.

Job description

The role is responsible for support of SAP S/4HANA and the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), including the interfaces between both systems. Its purpose is to ensure high availability and reliable execution of integrated production, maintenance and logistics processes in a fully automated foundry. The position provides second-line support, analyzes incidents and failed postings, ensures controlled reprocessing and coordinates escalation to internal experts or external service partners when required.
