Job description

IT Application Manager (Payroll Systems – Dayforce)

Term: 12-month contract with possible extensions.

Base pay range: $60.00/hr - $70.00/hr.

About the Role: We’re looking for an experienced IT Application Manager to lead and enhance our Dayforce payroll platform. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise, process improvement, and leadership to ensure payroll accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across a global organization.

You’ll work closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams to optimize integrations, automate workflows, and support business operations. This is a high‑visibility role with opportunities to manage projects, collaborate with international teams, and make a real impact in a company that values innovation in healthcare and technology.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary IT expert and system owner for the Dayforce payroll platform.
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize payroll system settings and integrations (e.g., Workday HRMS, SAP, Snowflake).
  • Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Manage system upgrades, testing, change control, and new feature implementations.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and IT to streamline and automate payroll processes.
  • Develop and maintain payroll reports, dashboards, and audit documentation.
  • Lead small to medium IT and payroll technology projects.
  • Collaborate with vendors (Dayforce and others) to resolve issues and plan future enhancements.
  • Provide user training, troubleshooting, and guidance for payroll system users.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Strong background supporting Payroll, Accounting, and HR systems.
  • Hands‑on experience with payroll platforms (Dayforce preferred).
  • Understanding of the hire‑to‑pay and account reconciliation process.
  • Technical knowledge of MS Windows Server, MS SQL Server, and exposure to cloud platforms.
  • Experience managing projects, vendors, and system integrations.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to translate between business and IT.
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working across global teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SAP ECC6 FICO and Workday.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL, and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with IT General Controls (ITGC) and audit processes.
  • Prior experience in the Healthcare or Medical Device industry.

Additional Information

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship or C2C).
  • Onsite position based in Malvern, PA.
  • 10% travel, including occasional trips to Germany.

If you’re passionate about technology, payroll systems, and improving business operations, we’d love to connect. Apply today and join a team that’s building world‑class healthcare solutions through innovation and collaboration.
