Job Description:

Job Role: IT Agile Project Manager

Location: Remote

Duration: 12 Months+

Must Haves:

1. 5+ years of experience in Agile environments leading and mentoring cross-functional teams in Agile methodologies, ensuring iterative development and continuous feedback loops to drive project success
2. One or more industry standard Agile Project Management certification: PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe Agilist, AgilePM, CSPO
3. 5+ years of experience with Jira to efficiently track project progress, manage tasks, and streamline workflows

Duties:

1. Provides counsel and advice to top management on significant IT Project Management matters, often requiring coordination between organizations.
2. Responsible for managing, directing and planning multiple complex projects, or occasionally one highly-complex project, consisting of one or more project teams.
3. Responsible for coordinating, scheduling and assigning project tasks, team building, maintaining working relationships with client functional areas outside of IT.
4. Applies project development methodologies and reporting techniques to indicate project status.
5. May manage and direct one or more project teams of project managers, specialists, analysts and programmers to meet complex project objectives.
6. Reviews, evaluates and formulates project plans, schedules and budgets.
7. Allocates staff and budget resources to meet changing corporate needs.
8. Identifies and negotiates schedules, milestones and resources required to meet project objectives.
9. Organizes and guides project operations through the use of methodologies accepted by the industry.
10. Evaluates progress and reports progress in terms of quality and performance metrics common to IT projects.
11. Modifies schedules as required.
12. Works with client departments to coordinate systems testing, installation, training and support.
13. Keeps informed of technical and managerial advances in IT.
14. Focuses on providing thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines.
15. Recognized internally as the 'go-to person' for the most complex IT Project Management assignments.
