IT Advisor, Technology Consulting - Oracle - Applications Technical Architect (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1612339), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Charlotte, NC.
Advise clients on how to understand, architect and implement the core applications and technology required to run their business. Focus on helping clients achieve: an optimal applications portfolio and governance structure that aligns with IT strategy and business architecture; improvement in application performance driving higher customer (internal and external) satisfaction; cost reduction and better investment decisions for applications infrastructure and services. Interact and communicate effectively with business and technology senior and middle management executives, end user and business subject matter experts. Manage project teams through agreed upon phases of the ERP project governance, requirements definition, technology risk analysis, customization, testing, implementation, training and rollout of a client's project lifecycle. Team with client business and technology professionals, and/or third party strategic alliances to provide implementation of technology solutions.
Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate advisory and/or consulting work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field and 4 years of advisory and/or consulting work experience.
Must have 4 years of experience working with an ERP system in a software configuration implementation role, with at least 1 year spent in a managerial and IT/business integration role.
Must have 4 years of experience with integration technologies utilizing SOA and SOA frameworks with Oracle Cloud applications.
Must have 2 years of practical Oracle Cloud Applications implementation experience.
Must have 2 years of experience using OUM or AIM methodologies.
Must have 2 years in leading teams of technology professionals through all phases of the technology lifecycle, including requirements definition, architecture design, conversion and testing.
Must have 1 year of experience researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including emerging technologies, SOA governance, and new technologies.
Requires travel up to 60%, of which 5% may be international, to serve client needs.
