Job summary

Domtar is seeking an IT Administrator, FST in Johnsonburg, PA, for a full-time, on-site role. The candidate will maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals, provide mill application support, and drive security best practices across IT systems.

Required 5+ years in desktop support, LAN/WAN/SAN connectivity, and AD management, with Windows Server/VMware experience. The position offers growth, collaboration, and continuous learning within a large manufacturing network.

Qualifications

5+ years of desktop support in a Microsoft environment.
5+ years implementing data connectivity for LANs/WANs/SANs.
5+ years providing application support.
5+ years IT infrastructure experience.
5+ years troubleshooting printer issues and configuring printers.
5+ years leading and managing technology projects.
5+ years managing Active Directory.
Experience with Windows Server OS, Clustering and VMware.
Cisco experience/certifications.
Strong English language skills.
Ability to manage time and meet deadlines in a hectic environment.
Demonstrated ownership and proactive communication.

Responsibilities

Follow all Domtar safety rules and regulations.
Oversee the daily performance of desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
Provide application support for mill applications as needed.
Utilize the internal IT Ticketing System to resolve incidents and requests.
Promote IT Cyber Security best practices daily.
Update hardware assets in the Asset Management System.
Participate in On-Call rotation for 24/7 support.
Coordinate infrastructure work with vendors.
Perform backups, patches, incident resolution and account maintenance.
Provide guidance to other Business and IT teams as required.
Support IT infrastructure components at the facility.
