Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a packaging lab technician for the Kendall campus in Miami, FL. This onsite role supports engineers with daily packaging tests, data management, and coordination of shipments, with a focus on waste reduction and adherence to ISO/GMP standards.

The position requires education in Packaging or Materials Sciences, FDA-regulated environment experience preferred, and technical writing skills. CAD knowledge is a plus; lifting up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• College coursework or higher education in Packaging, Material Sciences, or a related field.
• Related experience in an FDA-regulated environment preferred.
• Technical writing experience; knowledge of ISO and GMP requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with daily packaging tests, execute packing instructions and test sequences, and document results for Distribution Test Reports.
• Conduct physical testing and environmental exposure testing in the Shock & Vibration Lab.
• Download and manage data files and provide input to engineers.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing product shipments and manage lab schedules and weekly project status reports.
• Maintain lab housekeeping and organize supplies and materials.
• Assist in defining packaging materials, with a focus on waste reduction.
• Follow established processes and procedures, ensuring accuracy, attention to detail, and timely completion of tasks.
• Fully onsite position at the Kendall campus; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Specific lab training will be provided by the Package Engineering Department.
