Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in Washington, DC. The role requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph and 5+ years of related experience.

The position focuses on implementing RMF per NIST SP 800-37 and ensuring secure operations across ITD environments. Candidates must meet DoD 8570/8140 IAT level II certification requirements prior to start.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience
• Technical training, certification(s) or degree + 5 years experience
• DoD approved baseline 8570/8140 IAT level II certification required prior to start date

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal advisor on security matters involving IT division information systems.
• Implement RMF in accordance with NIST SP 800-37.
• Ensure network, system, application, or service is operated and disposed of per DIA security policies.
• Provide leadership briefs, reports, and documentation on RMF progression.
• Plan, implement, upgrade and monitor security measures for protection of networks and information.
