The Maven Group, LLC in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to lead security documentation, risk assessments, and continuous monitoring efforts. The role requires a Secret clearance, with Top Secret/SCI eligibility preferred, and hands-on expertise across Windows and Linux environments.

You will manage AD and Group Policy, perform vulnerability assessments, and ensure STIG/SCAP compliance while coordinating security activities with DoD standards.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required and an active Secret clearance is required.
• High School Diploma with 8-10 years of experience is preferred.
• DoD 8570 IAM-I level certification (e.g., Security+) is expected or obtainable within six months of hire.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, hardware, and software.
• Strong understanding of AD and Group Policy management is essential.

Responsabilités

• Generate and maintain IS security documentation including SSP, IA SOP, Continuous Monitoring Plans, and ROPO&M.
• Schedule, perform, and document audits, patching, and changes; conduct scans as required.
• Maintain records of audits, vulnerability assessments, and security controls.
• Configure and secure laptops/desktops/servers, and manage network infrastructure as needed.
