Job summary

Odyssey Systems Consulting Group is seeking a Journeyman Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support Hill AFB, UT. The role focuses on protecting DoD/AF information systems, aligning with RMF, and maintaining secure posture.

You will work with the ISSM to ensure compliance, assess risks, and enforce security controls across programs. Responsibilities include risk assessments, accreditation support, policy enforcement, and incident response coordination.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• IAT Level II certification required (Security+, GSEC, CISSP, or equivalent).
• Bachelor's, Master's, or higher in a related discipline with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all systems and applications meet DoD and Air Force cybersecurity requirements as directed by the ISSM.
• Support RMF authorization and accreditation activities, including configuration, documentation, and compliance reviews.
• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments, identify security gaps and mitigation actions.
• Maintain and audit security artifacts, enforce policies and training requirements.
• Assist in system and network design to incorporate RMF controls from the start.
• Monitor security posture and respond to incidents, ensuring compliance across teams.
