Job summary

Air National Guard Units in Vermont seeks an IT Cybersecurity Specialist (ISSO) to manage cybersecurity for SAP/SCIF infrastructure within the ANG. The role requires a high school diploma, with a degree in computer science or information sciences preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from an accredited college/university is desired.
• A graduate degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services is optimum.

Responsibilities

• Serves as Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) under supervision of ISSM/Program Manager.
• Ensure RMF/JSIG compliance and certification for DoD information systems.
• Maintain knowledge of threats and develop policies to improve security posture and incident response.
• Coordinate with Wing/MAJCOM on cybersecurity/IA procedures.
