Job summary

The ideal candidate will operate with minimal supervision and demonstrate exceptional self-management and technical expertise. The role requires active Secret clearance, 3–5 years of information systems security experience, and a strong background in cybersecurity principles.

Qualifications

• Active Secret-level security clearance required.
• 3–5 years in information systems security and administration.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and system administration.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong technical skills in system management and security.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain information security protocols.
• Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
• Ensure compliance with NIST, FISMA, and other relevant security frameworks.
• Manage system accreditation and authorization processes.
• Develop and update security documentation.
• Perform periodic security audits and reporting.
• Support incident response and mitigation efforts.
• User account management and access control.
• Perform system updates and patching.
• Backup and recovery operations and testing.
• System performance monitoring and daily health checks.
• Generate security and performance reports.
