Job summary

United Launch Alliance (ULA) seeks a mid-level Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to provide RMF/ATO support and day-to-day information assurance for classified programs. You will lead control implementation, continuous monitoring, and audit readiness across lifecycle stages.

You will collaborate with program management, IT operations, and security leadership to ensure configurations meet confidentiality, integrity, and availability requirements in a DoD/IC environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly and U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 4+ years of IA/cybersecurity experience with 3+ years directly supporting RMF/ATO for DoD/IC systems.
• Current DoD 8570/8140 Tier II certification or higher.
• Hands-on experience with RMF artifacts and security controls.
• Knowledge of network security, Windows/Linux hardening, and encryption basics.

Responsibilities

• Execute RMF activities across the full lifecycle per DoDI 8510.01 and NIST 800-53.
• Develop and maintain RMF artifacts (SSP, SAR/SAP, POA&M).
• Support ATO package prep and evidence submission.
• Implement, assess, and validate security controls.
