A leading company in Washington is seeking a Lead Information System Security Officer to ensure the security posture of systems. High-Level Description: The Lead ISSO ensures the security posture of systems under the DIA CIO Infrastructure Services Contract through compliance with RMF, NIST, and IC security standards.
Detailed Description: As the Lead ISSO, this role entails managing all aspects of system security for critical IT infrastructure. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining security documentation, conducting security assessments, and ensuring systems remain compliant with DIA and federal cybersecurity guidelines. The Lead ISSO will act as a subject matter expert in security policy implementation, collaborate with program managers, and mentor junior ISSOs. This role requires expertise in vulnerability management, incident response, and risk mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field.
· CISSP or CISM certification and TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph required.
· 8+ years of experience as an ISSO, with 4+ years in leadership roles.
· Proficient in RMF, security assessments, and ATO processes.
· Excellent communication and leadership skills.
