Job summary

DANE LLC is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support the GSS 2.0 program. The role ensures security compliance across information systems, coordinating with IT and management.

A strong foundation in A&A activities and working knowledge of RMF and NIST publications are essential. Ideal candidates bring experience with NIST SP 800-53 Rev 4/5 controls, the ability to obtain a Secret clearance, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• US Citizenship required.
• Secret security clearance required or ability to obtain one.
• 5+ years IT security experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate all authorization documentation (SSP, system categorization, risk assessment).
• Support control assessment, reporting, and continuous monitoring processes.
• Coordinate with the DoS liaison to provide POA&M status.
