Job summary

Global Resource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) is seeking an Information System Security Officer II to support DoD agencies within SAPs and SCI/CAP environments in Cheyenne, WY.

The role focuses on day-to-day AIS authorization, security coordination, and vulnerability management across DoD programs. The ISSO II will review packages, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with security policies while working with multiple government and contractor partners.

Qualifications

• Four years related experience in information security or DoD environments.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related area or equivalent experience.
• Must meet DoD Directive 8570.01-M Level 2 IA Tech certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare, and update AIS authorization packages.
• Notify customer of changes affecting AIS authorization.
• Perform AIS self-inspections and security coordination.
• Identify AIS vulnerabilities and implement countermeasures.
• Represent the customer on technical review and inspection teams.
• Coordinate AIS inspections, reports, and responses.
• Maintain AIS security records and Co-Utilization agreements.
• Prepare reports on security safeguards for computer systems.
• Ensure AIS and network nodes follow security policies and practices.
