Job summary

Global Resource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) is seeking an Information System Security Officer II to support DoD SAP and SCI environments, delivering day-to-day AIS authorization, security posture reviews, and risk mitigation across multiple programs.

The role requires TS clearance eligibility, DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2, four years of related experience, and a bachelor’s degree. Travel within the AOR may be extensive; lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• Four years of related experience required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related area or equivalent experience.
• Must meet DoD Directive 8570.01-M for IAT Level 2 within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Review AIS authorization packages and maintain AIS security records.
• Notify customers of changes affecting AIS authorization.
• Conduct AIS self-inspections and security coordination.
• Identify AIS vulnerabilities and implement countermeasures.
• Represent customers on technical review and inspection teams.
• Coordinate AIS inspections, reports, and responses.
• Prepare reports on security safeguards for computer systems.
• Ensure AIS and network nodes are operated and disposed of per security policies.
• Perform ISSO duties for in-house and external customers.
• Assist DoD and contractor orgs with A&A efforts.
• Review, track, and conduct AIS training.
