Redtracetech is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) II at Hanscom AFB, MA. The ISSO ensures the operational security posture for information systems, collaborating closely with the ISSM. Essential responsibilities include managing security operations, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with security protocols.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years related experience in security for information systems.
• Strong knowledge of RMF and previous roles as System/Network Administrator or ISSO.
• Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ISSM in meeting security duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare and review authorization packages.
• Conduct periodic reviews of information systems for compliance.
• Monitor system recovery processes for security.
• Prepare reports on security safeguards applied to computer systems.
