Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in Colorado Springs to support the Space Systems Command mission. The role involves maintaining RMF processes, ensuring NIST-based compliance, and coordinating with ISSM/ISO to uphold a strong cybersecurity posture across SSC systems.

The ideal candidate holds an active DoD SECRET clearance with RMF/GRC experience and meets DoD 8140 requirements, with readiness to report on-site in Colorado Springs.

Qualifications

• Active DoD SECRET clearance required.
• High School diploma with 3–5 years IT/RMF/GRC experience; bachelor’s degree equivalent to 4 years experience.
• Meets DoD 8140 Cybersecurity Analyst Mid-Level Education/Certification (CySA, Sec+, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and track system cybersecurity baselines via eMASS or equivalent.
• Review and update enclave documentation in eMASS and CM systems.
• Identify RMF artifacts per cybersecurity policies and plans.
• Maintain accurate system documentation and configuration logs.
• Provide quarterly RMF compliance evaluations.
• Maintain cybersecurity data for systems in ITIPS per FISMA.
• Conduct annual FISMA security reviews and contingency dates.
• Create and maintain mission control packages and ATC guest system packages.
• Participate in IPTs and sustainment meetings to align cybersecurity requirements.
• Evaluate changes for security impacts and prepare risk assessments.
