Job summary

Areté seeks an immediate full-time Cyber Security Analyst / ISSO to support our Northridge, CA facility. This role requires a minimum, active TOP SECRET clearance, and the selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph.

You will work closely with Cyber Security and IT teams, provide after-hours support, and travel as needed to secure classified information systems. On-site only with comprehensive benefits, including health, life, LTD, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required with CI polygraph
• 1-2 years ISSO or equivalent cybersecurity duties for classified systems
• Experience with JSIG, RMF, and NIST 800-53 security controls
• Hands-on security auditing, continuous monitoring, and control documentation
• Current IAT Level II Security Certification or higher or ability to obtain within 3 months
• Solid knowledge of Windows and Server hardening
• Experience with common cyber security tools and STIGs

Responsibilities

• Perform ISSO duties per JSIG, RMF, and NIST 800-53
• Develop and maintain SSPs, POA&Ms, SCTMs, ConMon reports, and audit logs
• Conduct security control implementation, validation, and assessment
• Perform system audits and risk analysis
• Manage ConMon tasks to ensure lifecycle compliance
• Support CM processes with 1-2 years CM experience
• Provide incident response support and remediation of security events
• Prepare for inspections and assessments
• Assist ISSM with other duties
