Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Classified Cybersecurity Analyst (ISSO) to support information system lifecycle activities at our Rolling Meadows, IL site. The role requires on-site work and a TS/SCI clearance with 8570-equivalent certifications.

A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with related experience is preferred, along with familiarity with RMF and security controls. The successful candidate will conduct audits, monitor security, and help document risk management activities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with zero years of technical experience; or Bachelor’s with 2 years; or Associate’s with 4 years; or a High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of technical experience.
• U.S. Government 8140 (8570 equivalent) certification for Classified Cybersecurity Analyst – IAM I or higher.
• Current U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI clearance (or enrolled in CE program) to be considered.
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Counter Intelligence Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Conduct system audits and continuous monitoring of security controls and configurations.
• Assess systems and networks to identify deviations from policy and enclave requirements.
• Validate security requirements and recommend safeguards and enhancements.
• Support government policy implementation and process tailoring activities.
• Work within program controls to mitigate risks and support A&A activities.
