Job summary

Onyx Point, Inc. is seeking an experienced Information Assurance professional to support IC/DoD programs.

The role involves aiding the information assurance program, coordinating security policies, and maintaining the security posture across systems. The candidate will manage security operations, evaluate security solutions for classified processing, and contribute to Certification and Accreditation packages and documentation such as SSPs and SRTMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher with 12+ years of related experience; or equivalent combination
• Minimum 7+ years as an ISSO supporting IC/DoD programs of similar scope
• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph is required

Responsibilities

• Assist information assurance program development and enforcement of security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Maintain operational security posture and ensure policies, standards, and procedures are followed.
• Manage security aspects of information systems and day-to-day security operations.
• Evaluate security solutions to meet processing of classified information requirements.
• Perform vulnerability and risk assessments to support Certification and Accreditation.
• Provide CM for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Manage changes to systems and assess security impact.
• Prepare and review SSPs, Risk Assessment Reports, CA packages, and SRTMs.

• Provides aid to the program, organization, system, or enclave's information assurance program.
• Lends assistance for proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Maintains operational security posture for an information system or program to ensure information systems security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed.
• Assists with the management of security aspects of the information system and performs day-to-day security operations of the system.

Compensation

We are committed to providing fair and competitive compensation. The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $250,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation offered across the locations where we hire. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidate's work location, specific role, skill set, and level of expertise.
