Job summary

CAE USA Inc. is seeking an Information Systems Security Manager to lead our classified cyber security program supporting DoD efforts. You will guide ongoing risk management, ensure certification requirements are met, and mentor a team of cyber security professionals.

The role requires DoD IAM III certification, strong RMF/JSIG knowledge, and excellent communication skills to coordinate with government and internal teams. Occasional travel to support field locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree in discipline (STEM) and minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience
• Active DoD 8570.01-M IAM level III certified credentials (e.g. CISSP, CISM, GSLC)
• Subject matter expert regarding security standards and frameworks, rules and regulations, and system trust principals (FIPS, NIST SP 800 Series, JSIG, DAAPM, ICD)
• Experience managing cybersecurity requirements and/or teams in collateral, SAP and/or SCI environments
• Experience interfacing with internal/external customers (DCSA, AO/DAO, GCAs, IT, PMs, Cyber Architects/Engineers)
• Experience leading the A&A of classified information systems
• Experience managing people and technical resources
• Excellent communications skills, oral and written
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated with documentation of evaluation results
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a team environment
• U.S. citizen due to contract requirements

Responsibilities

• Integrate the Classified Cyber Security Program with the Program Management leadership team to achieve strategic cyber goals
• Guide program personnel at offsite locations to meet USG certification requirements
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Cyber Security teams across portfolio programs
• Serve as liaison with government Authorizing Officials for their area
• Interpret JSIG and determine IA requirements; conduct risk assessments and RMF implementations
• Develop system authorization documentation and continuous monitoring plans
• Ensure security controls operate as intended throughout system lifecycle
• Coordinate DoD-aligned continuous monitoring and SIEM tool usage
• Perform hardware/software configuration management and investigations
• Collaborate with engineers and developers for secure solutions
• Participate in current/future security domains and architectures
