Constellation Technologies, Inc. seeks a security engineer with TS/SCI clearance to lead and support RMF-based security operations for large IT programs. You will help maintain SSPs, enforce policies, and coordinate security assessments across domains.

The role requires deep knowledge of NIST 800-53, defense-in-depth, and experience in enterprise security architecture. A high level of diligence and collaboration with DoD stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have TS/SCI clearance with active polygraph.
• Must be a US citizen.
• This role accepts multiple experience levels; 2 of last 5 years related to ISSO/ISSE or security engineering.
• Level 04 requires 15+ years; Level 03 requires 12+; Level 02 requires 9+; Level 01 requires 6+ years.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I or higher.
• Experience with ISSO/ISSE and defense-in-depth architecture.
• Knowledge of RMF and NIST 800-53 controls.
• Familiarity with STE/STN requirements and security toolsets.
• Experience evaluating security of software/architectures and SSPs.

• Must be a US Citizen
• This position is open to multiple levels of years of experience; two (02) years within the last five (05) years must be directly related to Information Systems Security Engineering / Operations:
• Level 04 requires a minimum fifteen (15) years of experience
• Level 03 requires a minimum twelve (12) years of experience
• Level 02 requires a minimum nine (09) years of experience
• Level 01 requires a minimum six (06) years of experience
• Minimum of High School Diploma
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I or higher.
• Experience as an ISSO/ISSE with emphasis on Defense-in-Depth principles, network, and enterprise security architecture
• Experience applying the principles of the NIST 800-53 including the procedures in the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Familiarity with STE/STN requirements
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with several of the following: current security tools; hardware/software security implementation; communication protocols; encryption techniques/tools.
• Experience completing security evaluations of software systems or architectures to ensure they meet security requirements.
• Experience preparing and maintaining SSPs and other security related documentation.
• Experience proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies, preferably on a large software or IT program.
• Demonstrated experience performing day-to-day security operations of large, complicated information and information processing systems.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have

• DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 2 or 3
• Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) Certification
• Computer Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification
• Ability to ensure the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for an information system
• Support continuous monitoring of networks to detect and correct areas of security non-compliance, unmitigated vulnerabilities, and other risks
• Perform regular audits of information systems
• Assist the information systems security manager in preparing the information system for periodic reaccreditation
