Honeywell Aerospace in Minneapolis, MN, seeks an Information Systems Security Engineer (Cyber Sec Arch/Engr II) to support DoD collateral programs. You will administer onsite IT infrastructure, ensuring DAAG and NIST SP 800-53 compliance while collaborating with ISSMs, ISSOs and FSOs.

The role is mission-critical, reporting to the Cyber Security Manager, with a fully onsite schedule from our Minneapolis location.

Qualifications

• Secret security clearance is required.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 compliant certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of system administration experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Cloud (Azure) administration experience.
• Experience with network administration and security tools (ACAS, STIGs, Splunk, SCC).
• Proficiency configuring and managing secure Windows environments.
• Proficiency administering Cloud environments.
• Associate’s degree in IT/CS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage secure IT systems, networks, and cloud enclaves per DAAG and NIST SP 800-53.
• Provide Tier 1/2 support and manage user access and security policies.
• Collaborate with ISSMs/ISOs/FSOs to integrate security into RMF and ATO efforts.
• Perform system maintenance, patching, backups, and documentation of SOPs.
• Monitor security logs and respond to incidents in coordination with the security team.
• Maintain compliance with DoD directives and DAAG/NIST controls.
