Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Notifies classroom teachers of each student's scheduled placement in ISS.
  • Requests assignments and materials needed for each student to complete tasks.
  • Provides instructional assistance and encouragement to students to complete work.
  • Organizes each student's work and returns it to the classroom teacher for evaluation.
  • Maintains a standard of student behavior to support a positive learning environment.
  • Communicates with teachers and administrators to assess student needs.
  • Adheres to district rules, policies, and state/federal regulations.
  • Maintains confidentiality of student performance and records.
