Job summary

Consolidated Nuclear Security seeks a CAD/CAM/PLM/PDM Developer to install, upgrade, and support PLM tools across on-premise and cloud environments. You will configure data structures, participate with enterprise teams, and ensure readiness for PLM migrations. Applicants should have a STEM degree at a bachelor’s or master’s level, with extensive PLM/ CAD experience and strong collaboration skills.

Some telework may be possible; domestic travel up to 25%. U.S.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related engineering/computer field or equivalent experience
  • Experience installing, integrating, and supporting CAD/CAM/PLM/PDM systems
  • Experience with on-premise and cloud PLM deployments
  • Strong data modeling and data migration skills
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration in Agile environments

Responsibilities

  • Install, patch, upgrade, and support CAD/CAM/PLM/PDM products
  • Integrate PLM software on-premise and in the cloud

What You'll Do
  • Install, patch, upgrade, manage, and provide customer support for CAD / CAM / PLM / PDM products
  • Integrate CAD / CAM / PLM / PDM software products both on-premise and in the cloud
  • Participate on local and enterprise CAD / CAM / PLM / PDM teams
  • Configure core PLM data structures: part master, document types, EBOM/MBOM, routings, change workflows, quality records, and project templates.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure data is ready for PLM migration

Preferred Job Requirements
  • Manufacturing experience with at least one of the following: CAD / CAM / PLM / PDM.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies and missing information.
  • Experience with using, installing, managing, integrating, and supporting CAD / CAM / PLC/ PDM products such as Dassault Enovia, Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, and PTC Creo.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Lean, six sigma, kaizen, or other continuous improvement efforts
  • Experience with 2D/3D modeling, generating cutter tool paths, running machine simulations, and a basic understanding of G-codes and M-codes.
  • Design, development, and modification of workflows within PDM and knowledge of PDM integration development and tools.
  • Knowledgeable about PLM/PDM integrations to ERP/MRP or MES systems.
  • Scripting skills to help automate manual tasks.
  • Oracle or other relational database management systems with experience in SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Web server technologies such as Apache Tomcat.
  • Effective communication skills and demonstrated success in a team environment.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum team implementing methodologies/tools (Jira, Confluence).
