Job summary

Keller ISD Central High in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking an ISS Aide for the 183-day 2026-2027 school year. This non-exempt, on-site position starts immediately and reports to the campus principal. The role pays a daily rate of $120.44.

You will supervise students assigned to in-school suspension, assist the teacher, and maintain a highly structured, respectful environment. Collaboration with staff supports student achievement and district goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate.
• Educational Aide III certificate required for specific assignments.
• Additional qualifications per ESSA Title funds may apply.
• One year of clerical/secretarial experience preferred in an office.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain an orderly, highly structured classroom environment.
• Assist students with assignments and consult teachers.
• Distribute and check student assignments for accuracy.
• Maintain student files and return to teachers.
• Manage student behavior per policies and IEPs.
• Attend faculty meetings and assist with staff committees.
• Provide clerical and instructional support as needed.
• Ensure respectful interactions with students and staff.
