Job summary

Dynamic Aviation in Bridgewater, Virginia is seeking DeHavilland DHC8 Traveling A&P Mechanics to support our reconnaissance missions across multiple locations on a rotational basis.

This full-time position requires travel but not relocation, with a 60 days on/60 days off schedule, company-paid travel, per diem, medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) with match, and wellness programs. You will work with customers and pilots, maintain aircraft, and coordinate travel logistics.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P certificate required.
• 3–5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Willingness to travel extensively on a rotational schedule.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on DeHavilland DHC-8 aircraft to ensure mission readiness.
• Maintain aircraft and equipment to high standards.
• Book travel and lodging, process expense reports, and coordinate with Maintenance Control.
• Communicate aircraft status and location changes to supervisor and customers.
• Assist pilots with aircraft servicing pre/post flights and support on-site operations.

Position Summary: We are currently looking for DeHavilland DHC8 Traveling A&P Mechanics to support our reconnaissance mission in multiple locations on a rotational basis.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Perform all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on assigned aircraft, assuring aircraft is available for customer flight missions on an on-going basis
• Maintain company aircraft and equipment to the highest standard
• Responsible for booking own travel and lodging details and providing travel paperwork and receipts to complete expense reports
• Responsible for communicating aircraft status, changing location, monthly inventory, and AOG situations to Maintenance Control and the direct supervisor
• Closely work with customers on tasks as requested by management and assist pilots with aircraft servicing pre/post flights
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• FAA A&P certificate
• 3-5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience
• Ability to travel away from homelocation for approximately 60 days on a rotational basis based on customerneeds (longer if needed)
• Ability to travel and make travel arrangements on short term notice for movement from one location to another
• Ability to work a schedule that varies (including weekends and holidays) depending on the flight schedule
• Computer skills including email and submission of detailed maintenance records
• Good teamwork, strong initiative, communication, problem solving, highly resourceful, troubleshooting and decision-making skills
• US Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally
• DOD Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of DeHavilland DHC8 maintenance experience
• Previous OCONUS experience

• Ability to travel asrequired
• Relocation not required
• Ability to: lift, balance, and carry 50 lbs, crawl in and out of tight spaces, and predominantly work in enclosed hangars, occasionally in exterior weather conditions or elevated heights
