Job summary

Congruex is seeking an ISP Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair cabling for business clients. The role involves single-mode/multimode fiber and CAT5e/6/6A copper cabling with mechanical terminations, working in tight spaces, at heights, and interacting with clients professionally.

The technician will install data/voice cabling, raceways, cabinets, and grounding cables, and must pass safety checks while following regulations. OSHA 10 and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
BICSI Installer certifications preferred.
Experience with home/business cabling systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with the Foreman/Construction Manager.
Interact with onsite customer contact on the job site.
Read job docs and understand projects.
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair cable infrastructure.
Test newly installed or relocated cables.
Ensure cables are neatly tied and bundled per safety rules.
