Heniff Transportation Systems, LLC in Missouri seeks an ISO / Tank Container Mechanic to inspect, maintain, repair and refurbish ISO containers used for liquids, gases, chemicals, and dry freight. The ISO / Tank Container Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing ISO containers (intermodal containers) used for transporting various goods, including liquids, gases, chemicals, and dry freight. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards to ensure containers meet industry regulations and are in proper working condition for safe transport.
Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. May be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel; reach with hand and arms, and stoop, kneel or crouch as needed. May be required to lift 50 lbs.
Based at an ISO container depot, with a combination of office work and hands‑on supervision of the depot yard. Travel from depot to depot will be required. May involve working outdoors in various weather conditions, around heavy machinery and equipment. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required when in the yard or working near containers.
