Job summary

A-LIGN is seeking an ISO Staff Consultant to execute information security consulting activities, including ISO assessments and client-facing services. You will support management, assessment execution, and client service initiatives to help grow our fast-paced team.

Reporting to the Managing Consultant, this full-time role requires a Bachelor’s in Information Security, 1–2 years of IT assessment experience, and relevant certifications (CISA/CISM/CISSP preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Security or related discipline.
• 1–2 years of IT assessment experience with standards such as SOC, ISO, SOX, PCI DSS.
• ISO assessments experience preferred but not required.

• Lead assessments during remote or onsite testing.

About the Role

The ISO Staff Consultant works to execute Information Security Consulting activities. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of all types of ISO assessments and client-facing consulting services. As the ISO Staff Consultant, you will provide exceptional consulting and client service strategies to help support the continued growth of our fast-paced company. A-LIGN will depend on you as the ISO Staff Consultant to support management, assessment execution, and client service initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute ISO engagements under the direction of the management team
• Lead assessments during remote or onsite testing
• Lead scoping calls about client environments
• Communicate clearly and proactively with both clients and management team regarding project status

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Security or related discipline, preferred but not required

Experience

• At least 1-2 years of experience conducting IT assessments with at least one industry standard framework such as SOC, ISO, SOX, PCI DSS, etc.
• One or more years of experience with ISO assessments, preferred but not required

Certifications

• Currently holds one relevant industry certification such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, etc. - preferred, but not required
