Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking an ISO Quality Specialist/Auditor to support the US Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center in Elizabeth City, NC. The role requires ISO experience, process improvement expertise, and the ability to travel up to 25% to Coast Guard units nationwide.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or eight years of related experience, with knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma and ISO audits being a plus. US Citizenship is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of process improvement experience that includes ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001.
• In lieu of a degree, eight years of process improvement experience that includes ISO audit process.
• Strong knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma with certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain quality standards to ensure compliance with AS9110, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 and Coast Guard requirements.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to optimize time, labor and materials.
• Conduct and manage regular audits and assessments and follow through on corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Coast Guard leadership to streamline non-conforming processes.
• Develop and conduct training on quality, safety and environmental standards.
