Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned Quality Engineer to ensure ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001 compliance. You will oversee the quality management system, monitor KPIs, and drive process improvements through audits and data analytics.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience, with strong RCA skills and proficiency in Six Sigma tools. Excellent communication and time management are essential for success in this on-site position in Alabama.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Five (5) or more years of related experience.
• Proficiency in Six Sigma and FMEA.
• Technical background in quality engineering preferred.
• Strong RCA and data analytics experience.
• FMEA, PPAP, Lean Six Sigma, 5-Whys or RCA tools familiarity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to ISO 45001, 14001 & 9001 standards.
• Oversee quality management system, quality policy and KPI tracking.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to verify conformance.
• Support development and control of procedures, work instructions and drawings.
• Provide training and guidance on quality and engineering principles.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
• Investigate and resolve non-conformities and customer complaints.
• Assess and mitigate quality-related risks across operations.
• Plan and execute internal and external audits.
• Prepare reports and metrics on site-specific quality KPIs.
