Job summary

Penn United Technologies, Inc. is hiring full-time ISO Press Technicians to support carbide manufacturing at our Carbide facility. The role requires rotating between daylight and midnight shifts and offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

As an ISO Press Technician, you will prepare and operate the ISO Press machine to compress powdered carbide used for carbide components, with responsibilities including setup, material handling, and area upkeep.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong math and mechanical abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• High accuracy and commitment to quality.
• Experience with blueprint reading is a plus.
• Familiarity with carbide manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to rotate between daylight and midnight shifts.
• Able to lift 65+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate the ISO Press to compress powdered carbide.
• Prioritize, plan and prepare work.
• Sort jobs by due dates and complexity of tasks.
• Pull designated carbide powders.
• Fill press bags.
• Load and unload press.
• Separate powder and billets by grade.
• Operate crane and ISO Press.
• General clean-up of work area.
