Job summary

Heniff Transportation Systems, LLC in Missouri is seeking an ISO Lift Operator & Yard Spotter. The role requires certified forklift operation, moving intermodal equipment, and assisting with container lifts around the depot.

You will document equipment locations, perform daily inspections, and coordinate with Dispatchers and Drivers to meet production needs. A high school diploma, 2 years of relevant experience, and valid forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position.
• Possess and maintain current certification in the operations of required forklift and related equipment.
• Adequate computer skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Preferred experience in driving and operating a container lift and/or spotter.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklifts to move intermodal equipment on/off chassis and put into/out of storage.
• Operates the yard spotter to assist with moving tanks on chassis and around the depot; such as creating the mount list and positioning equipment to and from bays and repair shop.
• Documents location of equipment utilizing equipment tracking system; updates electronic tracking systems.
• Ensures equipment is in proper working order and documents inspections; reports discrepancies.
• Maintains daily inspection logs and reports exceptions; ensures periodic maintenance.
• Communicates with Dispatchers and Drivers to meet production and customer needs.
• Follows safety procedures and ISO standards when required.
