Job summary

Ampco Pumps is seeking an Assembler to produce and assemble Centrifugal pumps in our Wisconsin facility, following ISO procedures and specific instructions. You will read assembly prints, prepare parts, and assemble components to meet customer specifications.

You will also operate overhead cranes and pallet jacks, verify BOMs, and support other departments to ensure on-time delivery. Experience is preferred but not required, with a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude valued.

Qualifications

• Reads and follows assembly prints, routers, specifications and other instructions.
• Must be familiar with portable hand tools and machine tools such as impacts, torque wrenches, calibers, etc.
• Requires good oral and written communication skills to interact with employees.
• Requires a good work ethic and mechanical inclination.

Responsibilities

• Reads and follows assembly prints, routers, specifications to build and assemble pumps accurately and timely.
• Operates overhead crane and pallet jacks during movement and assembly.
• Prepares parts for assembly.
• Picks and assembles parts to meet Customer requirements; verifies accurate bill of materials to maintain inventory.
• Assists other departments to ensure products are completed on time.
